Participant Guidelines
To ensure the fair, standardized, and orderly conduct of the competition, all participants must carefully read and adhere to the following:
1.Intellectual Property Commitment
Participants must guarantee that the submitted work is original and does not infringe upon any third party's intellectual property rights or other legal rights. In case of plagiarism, misappropriation, provision of false materials, or violation of relevant laws and regulations, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to disqualify the participant and/or revoke any awards, and may pursue legal action. All intellectual property rights of the submitted works belong to the participant. To ensure promotional effects for the competition, the participant hereby grants the Host Unit and its affiliates an irrevocable, royalty-free, non-exclusive license worldwide, limited to use of the award-winning works (including but not limited to design drawings, renderings, videos, etc.) for promotion, display, and publication related to this competition and its extended activities (such as the Sanya International Boat Show) post-competition.
2.Authenticity of Registration Materials
Participants must truthfully fill out the registration form and provide their valid ID number (Chinese residents provide ID number, foreign nationals provide passport number) for identity verification and prize distribution. The registration form must be personally signed by the participant (electronic signature or scanned copy is acceptable). For collective works, all authors must sign jointly to confirm.
3.Prize Distribution and Tax Explanation
Winners will receive the corresponding prize money (specific amounts to be announced separately). All prize amounts are pre-tax. Individual Income Tax will be withheld and paid by the Host Unit according to the law. To facilitate prize distribution, participants must accurately provide their personal bank account number and bank information (including bank name, branch information, SWIFT CODE, etc.) during registration. The participant bears responsibility for any failure in prize distribution due to incorrect or missing information.
4.Prize Distribution Rules:
4.1Total Amount Principle: The prize amount announced for each award is the total pre-tax amount. This amount corresponds to the award itself, not per winner.
4.2Collective Awards: If an award is won by a team composed of multiple members, the total prize amount for that award is granted to the team as a whole.
4.3Internal Distribution: The team must designate one representative to receive the prize money, who will be fully responsible for the internal distribution of the prize within the team. The specific distribution method, ratio, and any issues arising therefrom shall be resolved internally by the team and are not the responsibility of the competition host.
5.Originality and AI Tool Usage Regulations
Participants must ensure that the core creativity, design scheme, and final presentation results (including design drawings, renderings, design description text, etc.) of the submitted work are original and primarily completed by the participant (or registered collective). The direct generation of core design content (such as overall appearance, interior layout, etc.) for the competition entry using any artificial intelligence generation tools (including but not limited to OPEN AI, ChatGPT, Midjourney, etc.) is prohibited. Moderate use of AI tools in auxiliary tasks (such as data retrieval, text grammar checking, etc.) is permitted but must be disclosed in the "Work Description". The Competition Organizing Committee reserves the right to review works suspected of being AI-generated and may require participants to provide proof of the creation process (such as design sketches, layer files, modeling history, etc.) to substantiate originality. Failure to provide a reasonable explanation and proof may result in disqualification.
6.Other Important Notes
6.1Participants must adhere to the competition timeline. Late submissions will be considered invalid.
6.2Submission of an entry implies acceptance of all competition rules and relevant arrangements by the Organizing Committee.
6.3These rules are prepared in both Chinese and English. In case of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the two versions, the Chinese version shall prevail and be the sole authoritative version.
6.4The Competition Organizing Committee reserves the right to make necessary adjustments to the specific implementation details in this plan based on the actual progress of the competition. Relevant changes will be promptly announced on the official competition website. The final interpretation of this plan rests with the Competition Organizing Committee, in accordance with laws and regulations.
